Janice Lai

Teacher

Graphic Design & Comic Illustration, Puppet Theatre

Janice is an integral part of the Studia On_ team, bringing warmth, creativity, and over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. Specialising in visually impactful digital and print design, she has a natural talent for translating complex ideas into engaging, hands-on creative experiences for children.

At Studia On_, Janice leads a range of our most popular programmes across schools : much-loved Puppet Theatre Club, a favourite among children from Year 2 onwards, where storytelling, performance, and craft come together. Through creating characters, building simple stage sets, and developing short scripts, children explore imagination, confidence, and collaboration in a playful and supportive environment.

Alongside this, Janice also delivers our Comic Illustration and Graphic Design Club at Invicta Primary School, where students experiment with visual storytelling, character design, and digital creativity.

Her workshops combine design, imagination, and hands-on making to inspire children in a way that is both educational and genuinely fun—making her an invaluable part of the StudiaOn_ team.
